Crazy?

Getting ready to start trying for baby number 2 and just had my son in January. I feel insane. We only want two though and just wanted to get the pregnancies done and close together.

I say go for it! Part of me would like to try, but I'm so nervous because 1. My pelvic area got messed up SO bad and I'm still in PT to recover 2. I didn't think I was going to make it with this baby and I was high risk. I don't know if I can go through that again right now. 😭 3. I have a good husband, but I feel that I could really use some more help. I get tired of asking when it's clear that multiple things need to be done. I never get a chance just to sit. Even when I don't have her I'm always rushing to get something done. 😕

Not crazy. I've had baby fever since I gave birth in January but...
I just took a pregnancy test and found out I'm pregnant again. If I've done my math right, I'm due in February. My annual is scheduled for July 5th so I'm just going to approach the topic with my dr then since I'll be about 6-7 weeks then. We weren't trying, to be honest, but I'm kinda glad to have two close in age, when our others are 11, 10 and 7 (the 10 year old is mine from previous relationship, as is my husbands 11 & 7 year old). It'll be an adventure, that's for sure!

I had my son January 23nd and I just took a pregnancy test this morning that resulted in a positive outcome.  I feel nauseous, nervous, scared and excited all at the same time.  This was not planned and I had my period on Mother's Day.  I haven't told my husband yet but all these articles about risks that occur if you become pregnant under 6 months after delivery makes me so depressed and scared. :(

My husband and I are going to try for #2 beginning in august! Had my son January 5th. We want all our kiddos close together and can't wait for the chaos lol

We're in the same boat and I just have that feeling that we might get a positive in a few weeks 🤞
After the next one, my husband is planning on getting snipped 👿 we have mixed feelings bc I was so horrible pregnant but that's just another reason to get it over with. Olivia would be 14 months if we get our bfp this month so in all likelihood she would already be walking and mostly done breastfeeding by the time her sibling comes!

I think its great. Everyone has their own preference. Your kids will have a playmate and will be close. I for one chose to have them 8 years apart. It is great because they each are in a different stage in life and I get to enjoy an 8 year old with all her sports and activities and I get to also enjoy a baby and all his cuteness. Its also fun to experience a baby almost a decade later with different baby stuff. Baby things change so quick. Like convertable high chairs that didnt exist 8 years ago. I only wanted two and I also worried that I would miss having a baby if I had two close in age. But at the same time I feel bad for my daughter for not having a sister close to her age that she can play with and share her interests with. So I would say go for it if its what you want.

Same here! My daughter is almost 6 months and we are trying again. We only want two so we want to get the diapers, breastfeeding and sleepless nights over with now. 😊

We did it! Our 2 are 17 months apart, now 22 months and 5 months. I love it! The pregnancy was rough, having a newly mobile toddler (I found out I was pregnant when our son was 8 months). I was still breastfeeding my son and my supply took a huge hit with the pregnancy hormones and I dried up by his first birthday. My goal was to make it a year so I was happy I did but we started transitioning to whole milk at 11 months bc I couldn't keep up. Other than that it's been SO fun! They adore each other!! So glad we did it!

My husband and I are thinking the same! The only thing is my period hasn't returned, and therefore have no clue whether I am ovulating let alone when.. how would you know how to time it?
