When did life go back to "normal" after baby?

And by "normal" I mean you had the desire to put on clothes other then pj's, your house wasn't a complete disaster, maybe you even ventured outdoors. 
3 weeks PP and I've got the hang of this baby thing but all I want to do is live on my couch. Unless someone else is around to watch/hold him I don't leave the house or really even clean. I feel so lazy.

Haha normal after having a baby?? Lol kidding. I think I started feeling normal after my daughter when she was close to 4 months. It also helped that she was sleeping all night at that point so I could too lol.

Hm. Well I'm 6 months pp and still live in pjs when I'm at home but I was starting to get out when she was about 2-3 months old

Probably about three months for me. Although that was probably a function of me going back to work. If you're forced (or force yourself) to get up and do things it'll get better. Not at three weeks PP though. You just had a baby. Give it time. It's a HUGE transition and your body is trying to heal with minimal sleep.

It depends on the person/baby. With my second I was feeling great and normal about a week or two after. With my others it was no where near that soon. My house is always a disaster until the babies can sit up and play and don't have to be held most of the time.

My best friend just came to my baby shower yesterday 12 days post, looking GREAT! They've been walking around the neighborhood and take baby places already. I hope I'm like that too!
