My LO has always been a crap napper but usually a car ride would get him asleep if nothing else worked and he really needed a nap. I had him napping twice a day schedule and it was working it fairly well. But the past few weeks have been hell for me at home, at the sitter he's been following his two nap schedule but at home I can't even get him to go down for one. What the heck? I put him down at the same times as the sitter and we roughly follow the same routine at home as he has over there. Yesterday he napped for 30 minutes after trying for an hour to get him down. He was clearly exhausted but he fights sleep so bad with me.
