TTC: When to test?

How many days post ovulation did you test? I'm 5 DPO and I know that's too early but I'm getting excited and can hardly contain myself! 😂

I'm 7 DPO.
I know it's hard to wait. Here is my advice:
Implantation happens between 4 and 10 DPO. HCG doubles every other day. This means it takes 2 days (after implantation) until a doctor can see it in your blood. It takes 2 more days to show in your urine. That's why early positives are just plain old luck. Some see very faint positives around 10 DPO. But chances are high you will be sad because it's negative.
Some girls get early positives, get their period, and get a negative. The egg might not implant correctly and/or they have an early miscarriage, also chemicals happen quite often. For me personally that kind of experience would be worse than just waiting for a view days longer.
Even early pregnancy tests have a 50% chance for a false negative at 10 DPO.

I can only say: wait at least until AF day or 14 DPO. And test with a 10 MIU sensitivity test (early pregnancy test). Avoid digital tests until you see a clear (not faint) positive because digitals are less sensitive.
