Ok this might sound a bit petty about what I'm going to rant about but considering my situation, it is reasonable. So my parents say that they want me to socialize. I ask them if I can go to the beach with my friends (there are 6 of them 7 including me) and they said no. Ok so we switch it up to my other friends house where she has a pool and I ask them. They say that they don't know them and that I will be there only little black girl there. They loosened up a tiny bit when I said my other friend (she's the same color as me). I personally don't see it as color is see PEOPLE.  I want to go to her house because the obvious reasons. 1: I won't see them until September 2. I haven't seen one of them for half of a year 3. THOSE are the only friends I have. My parents think that me having a sleepover at my little cousins house which mind you I don't like having, is socializing. Yes it's taking but they don't understand and they aren't my age. The friends house isn't even far. It's right where the studio is. They say I can't swim BUT THEY have NEVER seen me swim after he swimming classes I took years ago. I offered for my mother to talk to the friends mom so they could get on a understanding. She just said why would I want to talk to her? I can't seem to convince them at all. Ffs this is a ONCE in a lifetime thing for me.
