GUYS WE WON
My bluegrass band has been together for like 5 years and in the last two years we became like a super serious thing. Last summer we won a local bluegrass competition in AZ called Pickin in the Pines. 
And so recently we drove to TELLURIDE COLORADO to try our hand at one of the biggest bluegrass competitions in the country.
We went up against twelve other bands and somehow we won. We got money and the chance to play there next year. This is the same stage as so many famous people play on (Jason Mraz, Norah Jones, Elephant revival, Punch Brothers) and we're playing there next year.
Also almost every bluegrass band that's won the competition has become famous and we re one of the youngest bands to ever win. We went up against some old dudes who've been touring for years. And somehow we got picked.
I'm 16 and my band just won the Telluride Bluegrass competition. I'm really proud.
