did you get checked every visit?

My appointment last week for 36 weeks I was checked to see if I was dilated and all that. And I was at a 2, 70% effaced. I had my appointment today and didn't get checked. She just said "see you next week unless you go into labor before then" lol. So did you get checked every appointment after 36 weeks? I thought that's what usually happens until your due date?

You can always ask if they can check you, if you are concerned. But I would say some drs, may only check every other week. I am with you though and I would have been requesting/demanding that they check me. Especially if I had made as much progress as you had. With both my 2 older children I never dilated and never effaced at all until I was induced. So I am hoping this time around I will make some progress on my own instead.

Starting week 36, I was supposed to get checked every week. I say "supposed to" because I gave birth the next day.

I won't be checked unless I ask. I wasn't checked with my first pregnancy until I was in labor.

Nope. My last doctor didn't check unless necessary. My new doctor doesn't either.

Been checked 2x's and I'm due to go back tomorrow not sure I will be checked will be 38 weeks
