Confused...

So I normally start my period like clockwork every month and then it's pretty much always the same heavy bleed and seven days long. This month I started early... Spotted for a day or so....went on to have a medium flow for 2 days or so and suddenly nothing. No more blood only some discharge. Is this normal? Anybody have this happen
