I've had an abscess for years (yes it's dangerous I know) I kinds forgot to to get it extracted because I took antibiotics when I first got it and it never bothered me again. Well I went to the denstsit last week and apparently i still have infection, but it's under control. No swelling, fever or high white blood cell count. But i heard your not suppose to extract an abscesses tooth until the infection is gone but I know some people that have. Should I be worried? I don't want it to get pulled and then it go into my blood stream? Has anyone had this problem??
