Toddler Bed

Okay so I seriously need help when it comes to transitioning my son from his crib to toddler bed. He's recently learned how to climb out of his crib so I figured it was time to move to the "big boy bed" problem is he will NOT stay in it, I stayed up basically all night constantly putting him back in his bed before I finally just gave up and let him sleep with me. Thing is we share a room (I still live with my parents) and we have a baby gate in front of the doorway so he can't get out, just throwing that out there. I wouldn't even be doing this yet but he's almost two and he's already climbing out of his crib all the time so I figured it was a good time to start getting him used to the toddler bed.
