I am a total MacBook and Apple advocate. I love mine. If you're looking to buy one for college, I would check with your school and major first before you buy because some majors prefer a specific type of computer and software.

I have Mac and hate it, I typed up the perfect resume (with help) using HP and saved it on my USB drive, needed copies one day, put it into my Mac and it changed the entire format 😩🤦🏽‍♀️

I love my surface pro. It is so nice to take notes on and its super fast. I had a Mac and I really didnt like it.

Depends on your degree. If you're engineering, get anything other than apple. If you're not engineering, then it just depends on your personal preference of software.
