Question! VBAC after Cesarean?

I need to hear from others! I had an emergency c section in 2014 with my daughter due to placenta and cord problems which were not detected during ultrasounds. I had been induced and everything was good but then all of a sudden I had to have a c section. It was very rare- 1 in 100,000 chance. Likelihood of it happening again is small. It was so traumatic the way it all happened. Anyways, I would really like to have a VBAC but I am hesitant because of the risks. My cesarean scar is barely visible and extremely low below my pubic hair line. My last doctor did a great job from what I can tell. Well, I would prefer to have a normal delivery this time around, but I would like to hear from others. Please let me know about your personal experiences and thoughts. Thank you!!

Hi I had 2 natural then gave both to my daughter emergency c section 9 weeks prem and then then prep me for steroids at 30 weeks with my last wanting to section me I refuse section went to 35 + weeks and went in to natural labour was 6cm and waters had broke they didn't have the staff monitor me vbac and said had to have section I'm currently almost 30 weeks preg swapped hospitals and all systems go for vbac the support from hospital is amazing they told me not to worry you get signs well b4 any major issues with a bad vbac they said would be more dangerous having a section U can do it Hun don't let any one tell u otherwise , speak with your midwife on consultant if and concerns xx

Check with your doctor as some malpractice insurances will not cover a vbac. I had an emergency csection and will schedule my csection around the next time. My doctor said I'm an excellent candidate for a vbac but I pushed for 5 hours and baby was in distress and I don't think emotionally I can handle that again. Emotionally I'm not ready for baby #2 either but that's another story. If ur a candidate for one go for it. :)
