Do you let your baby stay on the boob as long as they want or do you pop them off after a while? What if they fall asleep?

If i have to pee I'll take her off otherwise she grazes as she likes... confession: she suckles usually for an entire nap while I nap or play on my phone... I've given up on the whole putting baby in the crib for a nap thing...

My youngest is 7 but when she was a baby, l let her stay on as long as she wanted. If she was good and asleep, I'd unlatch her and lay her down. She was one who constantly wanted to eat or comfort nurse so she was always attached to a boob anyway. Lol

I let my son stay on as long as he wants. Always have. He's 5 months old now and he's usually done eating in 10 minutes max. When he was cluster feeding his longest stretch was 10 hours, I thought I was going to die lol thank god those days are over!

I try to wake him up if I see him nodding off. Or slowly pull on my nipple and sometimes that'll wake him up. If it's the first side I'm trying, I'll sit him up burp him and then offer the other breast.

You can stroke baby's cheek to see if they will actively suck again. 
My dd always fell asleep and popped off in her own. If she didn't I would remove her but she would just startle and root aobwe started all over again lol
