so thirsty while pregnant normal??

I've been very thirsty and drinking a ton of water but can't seem to quench my thirst. Is this something I should be concerned about ?! I'm panicking a little that it could be something bad. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not too sure what to expect. I am only 6 weeks. Thank you !

Pregnancy requires more fluid - so I'm sure it's completely normal.  However, extreme thirst with no satisfaction can be a sign of an endocrine issue, such as diabetes, so just keep and eye out and maybe mention it to your doctor.

I'm 35 weeks and have been extremely thirsty the entire time. I'm always thirsty, never go anywhere without water. Some people say it can be indicative of diabetes but I've done my test and I'm perfectly healthy so idk. It is annoying though.

It's normal!! You need extra water for the forming of your fluids/placenta/everything. I'm 12 weeks and still drinking three large bottles (4.5 liters) of water per day minimum.

Right there with you! I'm 8 weeks, and I am so thirsty--I almost feel desperate with it. I read online that our blood supply is increasing and our bodies need more water to move the blood and clean the blood. I don't know all the details, but I read we need to drink 2.3 liters of water minimum a day!
