Hair Care Advice Needed!!

Ka

Kay

Okay ladies, I am in some serious need of help for my hair. Over the past few years it has gotten more brittle, falls out, and breaks off. I only wear my hair down. I wash it 3-4 times a week just depending on activity and all. I use Tresseme for shampoo and conditioner. I blow dry it 1-2 times a week, and straighten 1-3 times a week. I haven't dyed my hair in at least 2 years. I used to have super healthy, long, and thick hair. I want my beautiful hair back 😭😭. I think I need to get good heat protector as well. Should I change shampoo/conditioner?

Please help!?

Honestly sounds like a thyroid problem or vitamin deficiency. Contact ur PCP and do blood work. Brittle hair needs moisture, so do not use anything that says protein, fortifying, or reconstructive.

Thats very true. I'll try some hair care things, and if I don't see any improvements, I will definitely call my dr.

I'll check into those! Nope, been 125lbs for 10 years now lmao. I'm 22 and 5'8 , never gained weight easy but my dr isn't concerned because I'm healthy. I fluctuate between 120-130

Use a hairdresser recommended shampoo and conditioner and use coconut oil as a deep conditioner.

I'll have to give that a shot. I'm dying here! I am literally willing to try anything.

I've never had that problem if I'm honest. I usually brush a load through my hair and leave it over night and it just washes out in the morning

Most people I know people who have used coconut oil in their hair and it makes it super oily and takes forever to get all the way out. How would you recommend I use it?

Stop using shampoos with sulfate in them

I just googled it too. Oh man! I have been usuing it regularly for probably 2-3years. I will have to begin a new search. My hair is naturally wavy, but I like how I look with it straight.

I agree with the other comments. Also get some good Hair Vitamins, or even Prenatal Vitamins. Try washing your hair less, it takes a while to train it but it's definitely better for your hair. Definitely try to straighten your hair less, and always use heat protection. I personally have straight hair but I've seen people raving about how great Shea Moisture works for curly hair. I personally use Moroccan Oil, when my hair gets dry. It doesn't give you the greasy film other oils do.

You're welcome! I hardly ever use heat on my hair. Savanah Poulsen (Bold Beautiful Life) is a Beauty Blogger who uses L'Ange and her hair looks amazing. There are a ton of coupon codes so just google before you buy anything from them so you don't have to pay full price. Her hair tutorials are on How does she as well. I always check Pinterest for recommendations as well.
