It is safe as in no infections but not safe in pregnancy prevention you can still get pregnant from sex on your period so use a condom

You are still able to catch/give an std, ad low chance of sperm fertilizing an egg. (Like super low chance).

You can still get pregnant. That's how I am 23 weeks pregnant right now. Period/shower sex, but you can get an infection if you dont take the right precautions cleaning up afterwards. I'm talking like UTI'S or Yeast infection for the lady. The men probably won't get an infection. Condoms of course are best to prevent other kinds of disease, or children of course! Have fun stay safe!
