pregnant while on mirena ?

Any stories ladies i feel i may be pregnant im usually right when i feel like that ive been on mirena since oct of last year ( TMi ) LO says hes felt my bc the last we've had sex ive been extremely nauseous especially when i drink water 😰 or randomly through the day the test came back negative but it could possibly be early i even look it

Any Advice ladies i have an appointment the third but i was thinking of going to the er just to make sure

I would being pregnant while the iud is in dangerous it can cause an ectopic pregnancy

While possible, it's not likely if you have negative tests. The synthetic progesterone is meant to make your body think it's pregnant basically. You may or may not ovulate while having the mirena in. Do you have periods with the mirena? An unfortunate side effect of this iud is weight gain and pms symptoms. I had it in for 2.5 years and I was bloated all the time. I felt pregnant and gained a lot of weight with it in. I wouldn't go to the ER unless it was an emergency, if you are having severe pain or something, go. But if you're just curious if you are pregnant, don't go in. I'd definitely get to the doc to see if anything is amiss. Pregnancy symptoms are quite common with the hormonal iud.

Not to scare you but I did get pregnant on mirena. I found out at around 6 weeks and then my mirena expelled and 12 hours later my miscarriage began. Hope all is well💜

Mirena makes some women feel pregnant, it is one of the side effects (nausea, bloating, etc).

Being pregnant on mirena ones going to come back negative and ones going to come back positive. The way they do it to tell u if you are or arent is blood work. Thats what they did to me and thank god i wasnt pregnant. But they will just do a blood work ok you if anything. Dumb question where u like that in the belly prior before you were put on mirena?

I got pregnant on paraguard and coincidently my sister also got pregnant about 2 months prior on mirena
