Please advise me on what contraception i should try

I used to take the pill .. loved it never missed a pill never got pregnant. However i began having focal migraines and the dr refused to let me continue taking it. So i was prescribed the mini pil., twice. Bled constantly and heavily until i gave up and within 24 hours of stopping it so did the bleeding.

Thats all ive tried.

I wont have a mirena iud. I am not ok with something like that shoved up me.

Been using condoms and am ok with that but... would like something that isnt a barrier method.

Ive been told all i have left is the shot or the thing in the arm. Given those two id prefer a shot.

Experiences?? Will i bleed on it like i did with the progesterone only pill
