Vanishing Twin??

Question

Anyone know about this. I went to the doc at 5 weeks they saw two i went back at six weeks it was two then at 12 weeks and only one had a heart beat and they other one only measured at 7 weeks and they couldn't find a heart beat. Anyone ever experienced this

Hello I’m in the same boat since week 6 they said they aren’t sure that I have identical twins. Too small to know. 7w 6d same thing but they say there was one viable and one not viable. The 2nd measured half size and no heartbeat. I have a follow up at 10w, they don’t know if they are attached to each other which is what scares me more ! I’m praying that the 2nd non viable will be absorbe and the the first one keep growing healthy which seems to be. The scan report said: second fetal mass seems attached ( with a question mark )! They asked me not to worry but is a bit scary !! The good thing is that here is an amazing follow up at my clinic.
