I wasn't sexually active until I turned 17. I took birth control for an ovarian cyst when I was 13, and then took it for cystic acne when I was 15. I stopped until I was sexually active at 17 and am still on it at 19. Birth control has many different purposes, and although the main purpose is to keep from getting pregnant, you can use it for the specific things you're wanting help with.

Check with your doctor and see what they think is best. You could try prenatal vitamins as they typically clear your face up, help your hair grow, etc..

I was 14. My mom made me. Depo shots made me gain over 100lbs in 1 year. No longer on it though. I stopped after 3 years. Then found out I was pregnant by the 4th and now have a beautiful little boy💙

I took the pill for 10 days when I was 19. I quit taking them and haven't touched hormonal contraceptives since. We use NFP and condoms during my fertile windows.
