So my baby HATES riding in the car. He can be just fed, changed, happy as a clam and as soon as we put him in the car seat he gets upset. If someone is in the back seat to entertain him he can hold off his crying for 30 minutes or so, but if I'm alone it's an absolute nightmare! He wails like his whole world is falling apart. It sends my blood pressure through the roof and makes it so hard to concentrate on driving. Because of this I rarely go anywhere because I just dread the drive. And I live in a rural area and have to drive about 20 minutes to get anywhere. I try to time our outings so that I feed him, change him, then immediately put him in the car seat but it doesn't seem to help. Please, someone, any solutions?!? We are going on a 4 hour car trip in 10 days too!
