STD testing?

1) how do the appointments usually go? 2) how long would results take to get to me? 3) how often should I get checked out?

Answer

Its pretty much a pelvic exam, takes just a few minutes. Results are back within 2 weeks. My OB does it for each pregnancy, just as a precaution. But as long as you're not with multiple partners, and you and your SO are exclusive you shouldn't need to do it more than once. If in doubt you can ask the doctor.

They check your urine & blood , Pap test also. About a week or two for results. Get checked every 5-6 months to be safe
