Do you/have you used soap nuts for your laundry?

What were your experiences? There are so many mixed reviews I'm just not sure if I'm a believer yet! The price doesn't seem bad for an "all natural" laundry detergent? 
Is it too good to be true?

Wasn't a fan, thought they left a funky smell. I know others who love then so really you have to try them for yourself and male your own conclusions.

I am in a cloth diapering group which is how I learned this, but soap nuts and other stuff like that is not detergent. It is awful for your washer and won't properly clean your clothes.
