Hello I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the copper iud. We are in between having kids. We think we want one more but not 100 percent sure yet and we are over condoms. I have a bad reaction to hormonal contraceptives that I end up getting super depressed and have to take antidepressants. My husband and I don't want that to happen again so we are trying to stay clear of added hormones. Once we decide we are officially done he will get snipped and we won't have to worry about any of this but in the mean time we would like to use something to prevent getting pregnant but honestly condoms are not working for us and having to littles I can't remember to take my temp every morning to help track with ovulation. I was thinking about buying an ovulation kits and just using it backwards for say as a way to prevent pregnancy instead of trying. Does anyone think that would work that way? I'm scared to be honest of the copper iud but that's like our only non hormonal contraceptive that doesn't require us wearing something during sex. Let me know your thoughts, experiences, anything! Help a girl out!!
