So I just recently had a little bit of a scare with a pregnancy. I'm 16 years old. And have a very religious mother. I need advice on how I can talk to her about getting on birth control. Right now we have insurance through the hospital mercy which is where she works that is also a Catholic hospital. Therefore they do not support birth control nor abortions. So the birth-control would have to be paid with money not with my insurance. So not only do I have to convince a very religious woman to put me on birth control but I also have to pay for it what are some of my options and how do I talk to her about it?
