Can you fall in love with the same person again

So my bf of a year and a half, and I broke up yesterday again.. (were 17) his mom said he needs a break from dating (she doesn't really like me and blames everything on me when most of the time it's her son, she's literally psycho too..). So we're taking space then gonna try to be friends

Which is so hard, I'm absolutely heart broken

He once said "if were meant to be we will find our way back to each other"

What if we both move on, is there a possibility we find each other in the future and fall in love again?

I'm so broken right now, absolutely broken
