I have a crush on my best friend...what do I do?

Okay so I have a crush on my best friend and I don't know if he likes me back. Sadly school's out and he left my school to go to a different school so I won't get to see him next school year. I really miss him and I want him to just love me(😂). We would flirt with each other everyday at school but it didn't come off as a strong indicator of him liking me back. He still texts me like we used to but I really miss him because I won't be able to see him at all this summer. We've never gotten to the point where we met each other's parents and casually hanged out at each other's houses. It was just we talked to each other about anything and were just really close. Classmates would walk up to us and call us goals and I would awkwardly laugh and look down at the floor while he would put his arm around me going along with their teasing. I love every single thing about him and I just hope that one day he'll really like me back. I've never liked a boy so much before and I just can't stop thinking about him.
