I am looking to get back on birth control. When I first started birth control I was on Depo for 5 years. I gained ALOT of weight from it and a combo of other things. I ended up switching to the pill to help with my weight management. Well I am terrible at remembering to take pills so I stopped birth control completely. I was also single and not mingling so I had no use for BC. Well I have an amazing boyfriend now and we had sex for the first time and had a pregnancy scare. After consideration I have decided to go back k on birth control. I wanted to know what others experiences were with the nexplanon implant. I will not go back on depo because of the terrible side effects it had on my body and I won't remember to take a pill.
