So I'm 20, I moved out of my parents house about a month ago into my fiance's apartment which is about 10-12 mins down the road from my parents place. My parents are selling their house and divorcing, my mother is verbally abusive and controlling hence why I wanted to move out. My fiancé is out of town for 2 nights on a work trip and I just got a call from my mother pissed off at me because she expects me to stay with her when my fiancé is out of town?! I told her that I plan on staying in our apartment anyway. She was very unhappy. We never discussed this idea of hers and I never told her I would stay with her when my fiancé is out of town. Am I in the wrong? Should I feel bad? I see her at least 5 times a week and text/call her everyday. She always makes me feel guilty...
