Opinions on sprintec?

My doc. Started me on this today to help me get a regular ish period. Has anyone else had it?

I started sprintec almost 3 months ago (finishing my third pack this weekend). Personally I am a huge fan of it- I take it mainly to manage my acne problems since I would get a lot of cystic breakouts and hormonal breakout patterns on my cheek and jaw that flared up really bad around my period, and I very rarely have an active flare up except during the placebo week (when you get your period).

However, when I started though, it made my period longer (7 days to my usual 5) and then I had about a week of breakthrough bleeding that only happened for a few hours after I took the pill, followed by a 2 week period. However, that cleared up by the beginning of the second pack, and it's been smooth sailing since. I've had my period twice since starting (last month and this month) and it's been a lot lighter but not significantly shorter (5 days last month and anticipating 4 this month). Just pay attention to your body and you'll be fine! Best of luck 💙
