Quick question opk related

I had a very close opk at 10 am yesterday. BD around 7pm and tested around 11 pm and the opk was a definite posituve so we BD again. Just tested and it was negative. Should we still BD in case the surge lasts 36 hours? I fear mine only lasted 12. Hoping for thay rainbow baby!
