3-5? My son couldn't even wipe his own butt well enough at 3-5.

Honestly I have a 10 year old && I am still very uncomfortable with him going to a public restroom on his own. As someone who's experienced sexual abuse, I simply don't allow it. I may be paranoid, but my fiance accompanies my boys & will check the stalls before they go in && stand in front of their door. If I'm alone with them, we go into the women's restroom && I do the same thing. Luckily my boys have no issues with this. It'd be hard if they were embarrassed by it, but I was a single mom for a long time so maybe they're just used to it by now.

I was talking to my therapist, and he was telling me about the time when he worked in prison as a therapist for the prisoners... he told me that he talked to pedophiles, he said that a lot of times they will wait in the bathrooms at restaurants in the stalls, for a child going in by themselves , He said often times, he can molest/rape two or three before one of them says something to the parents....

Age has nothing to do with smarts as we all see from reading some of these post raise your kid smart and keep an eye out for them I've seen extremely young kids riding city busses.
