So I have been debating wether to post my birth story or not, so here goes.
Prior to pregnancy I had been diagnosed with Chronic Hypertension and was on labatelol 100 mg 2x Dailey well when I found out I was pregnant my Ob took me off the meds, but two months before my due date my bp started creeping up again so about 32 weeks I was being seen every two weeks then at 35 weeks I started having NST's every three days and AFI's every week.
My original csection was set for 39 weeks on June 15th, but after my 37 week appointment on June 1st my doctor called me that evening and said that after reviewing all my tests it was better to schedule my csection the next week on June 8th (38 weeks ) at 5 pm, needless to say I was ready  one month prior I got influenza b so I was ready, so on June 8th I got to the hospital at 3:00 pm to get ready for my 3rd csection at 5:00 pm which I ended up not getting to the OR until 6:00 pm and due to sooo much scar tissue from my previous sections my baby girl wasn't born until 6:44 pm my husband and mom were in the room and both immediately went to where my baby girl was being cleaned up after some time she was showed to me but I was told she was in respiratory distress and they were taking her to the NICU , my husband and mom went with her.
I didn't get done with my csection until 8:30 pm, because my doctor had to remove a lot of adhesions. After I was moved to my room to recover my babies pediatrician came in to tell me even after dozens of dating scans through out my whole pregnancy due to being high risk my baby girl was more like around 35 weeks ( born 5lbs 9oz, 19 inches long) due to how premature her lungs were, and when I was done with recovery they would take me to see her but that she was on C-Pap, that was two weeks one day ago and our little girl is still in the NiCU at this point she is now completely healthy but is having trouble nippleing her whole feedings.
There is a big controversy over what gestational age our baby girl is between the neonatal doctor and my doctor as I had more than 10 dating scans and was never off from my due date. They think that she will start taking her whole feedings soon and will come home soon. But it literally breaks my heart every night when I am just lying awake every three hours wishing she was in my arms being fed.
Here are some pictures of our journey so far.
Today at 2 weeks 1 day old ..... praying she starts taking her whole feeds and comes home soon.
