Annual GYN visit while seeing RE?

My annual GYN visit is coming due, but I've been seeing an RE for the past few months.  Do I still see the GYN while under the RE's care?  Can RE's do pap tests?  I need to cancel my GYN appointment anyway, because it's during the TWW and I'm not risking it interfering with implantation, but do I need to reschedule?

I had a pap with my GP while under the care of my RE. My RE did not do paps and she knew I went. She said it wouldn't interfere with implantation as implantation occurs inside the uterus and a pap takes scrapings of the outer cervix and the cervix is closed during the tww. I got pregnant that month so it definitely didn't hinder anything.

Thanks for the replies, I'll ask the RE, I just didn't want to sound clueless.  I'm still rescheduling either way.  I know if probably wouldn't hurt implantation, but looking at my calendar now I see that I'll be either 4 days late (hopefully!) Or just ending AF, so either way not a good time.  There's no way I'll do it if I get a BFP,  I don't need a pap if that's the case, I've been trying for over a year!

I had my annual exam and Pap smear while on my 3rd day of stims for IVF. Both doctors said it wouldn't be a problem to do it during IVF.
