Rhogam Shot

Was anyone required to take this? Did you have a choice? Did you decide to take it? Were their any side effects, as far as baby moving less or being affected after birth? I'm a FTM and never heard of it. Was not informed I would be required to take it. I was forced into it at the doctors yesterday and coming home reading all the horrible things has me freaked out. Please tell me everything is okay!
