So I work in a salon, recently my boss asked me how much time I plan to take for my maternity leave. Now with my first child I had emergency c section and I didn't heal right. So with this baby dr is doing a scheduled c section for my health concerns and size of baby. I told her I was then most likely taking my 12 weeks which would put me the beginning of the new year. She acted like it was the end of the world! I'm having my tubes done at the same time, and want to heal properly this time. Am I wrong for wanting to take my whole 12 weeks of aloud time? Am I wrong for wanting to spend that time with my newborn and my 4 year old over the holidays? Ideas as for who I should talk to? Go over my manager and talk to corporate?
