So I'm
In the process of going blonde and I know it's a process. But how can I get rid of this brassy color? Any toners or dyes I can use that'll get me to a nice honey blonde or even ash brown?  Thank you!!

So silver shampoo well any purple shampoo. When I went blonde I would wash my hair with it and let it set like I would a conditioner then make sure you condition really well also. Matrix total results has a great blonde line to help get soft touchable hair even after all the bleach.

So here's my hair....done at home and naturally a dark brown. I use wella t-18 toner with ardell red/gold corrector, ion ash intensifier, and 20 volume developer. And I also use a purple shampoo with every wash....sometimes if I feel that it is still heavy on the gold tones, I will use the shampoo as a toner putting it on my hair dry and leaving it on for an hour before showering. I get all of my supplies at Sally's!

Can you go back for a redo? If you tell the salon you aren't happy with the results they should fix it for you. A good stylist wouldn't leave you with brassy hair. Do not use any kind of store bought color especially if you are planning to stay blonde. Box color is extremely difficult to lighten, not to mention if you use the wrong tone you could turn it green. Your best bet is to go back to a stylist and have it corrected. You could try some purple or blue shampoo.. let it sit for at least 10 minutes, but watch it and make sure it doesn't take too ashy or purple.

Stylist 💇🏻!! Are you able to go back, how long ago did you have it done. At my salon it is withjn the first week if you are unhappy we will redo for free, obviously the salon you went to should have a similar policy might not be exact, but I mean you want your clients to be happy so hopefully they do 🤞🏼I would strongly suggest NOT doing it yourself. Especially if you want to 1. Stay blonde & 2. Keep your hair in a relatively healthy condition. Be sure to use a blue or purple shampoo (blue is stronger). If they do fix it continue using a blue or purple shampoo every so often to keep up the time.
