Why can't I have the option to see new posts instead of 'hot' posts as my default. Tired of seeing stupid posts made YEARS ago. They are no where near relevant to anything 1 to 3 years later. Why are they on the 'hot' page?

Right next to the hot page is the tab for new stuff.

Anything that gets a lot of comments gets featured in the hot group I think. I don't really use it. I check my groups individually.

The real question is why the fuck do people dredge shit up from years ago, and why can't Admin control it?
