is cashiering hard to do ?!😰

so i got a job and i'm going to be working on the cashier .. they are going to train me ... Omg i'm nervous i don't know how to work it or how it goes.... I know how to scan obvisouly but the typing the numbers in and working the money?? idk 😫how did you guys learn?????? anyone ??? Im literally clue lesss..

It's not hard! The funnest job I've ever had was about 90% cashiering. It gets to be fun once you have the routine down!

For entry-level jobs, you have to learn to trust that management is going to train you until you're ready. They've trained a million people who were probably less motivated than you with no problem, and they're usually there for you if you have a question. Which leads me to my advice:

If you're unsure about something, track an authoritative person down and ASK. Don't just make an assumption and risk doing it wrong. It always surprised me how cheerful my managers were answering my (MANY) questions.

Anywho. Don't get nervous, get excited! You have a job! And if you stay upbeat, it'll be a really fun one! ^^ Congratulations.

It's so extremely easy. They'll train you and work with you first anyway, and you get faster at it each day you have to work.

The whole tech knowledge can be easy after learned and worked with.

The bigger problems are "anxiety" normal to be nervous in a new job but if you generally are a nerve wack to be social or direct with a customer or don't do good with a frustrated customer this could be a problem. Also if you're bad at money which is more bigger issue here. Oh yeah if you have back problems or circulation problems standing for prolonged time isn't going to be good for you.

Isn't hard at all! Of course the training is going to help and come in handy. The training is for them to teach you the basics and you'll start practicing and soon get the hang of it. Had multiple jobs involving dealing w/ money and customers and I literally got the hang of it easily I was able to multi-task. Don't worry hun the training will help and you'll get some practice and you'll be a pro! Just stay relaxed and have fun and gain some knowledge for your first job!! Congrats
