feeding baby's??

Do you keep baby on a set schedule like only 3 ounces every three hours are so on are do you feed as they get hungry... dr said my son should only eat 3 ounces every three hours but he eats 4 every 2 1/2 to 3 hours an some times a ounce are two in between that.. he does not spit up he just likes to eat an hollers if I try to wait

Babies aren't like goldfish - they won't eat themselves to death. Your baby knows when it's hungry and when it's full and if it overeats it'll come back up. Unless there's some medical reason, you feed your baby when they're hungry. That said, you should always talk to your pediatrician because they know your baby's health details and we don't

Feed on demand. I have 3 kids and BF them successfully for a year plus. I'm still nursing my 16 month old.

Babies grow like crazy the first year, so do their appetites, and their stomachs. Feeding on a schedule and letting baby scream in hunger is just mean. Some babies eat more and some eat less. My first born was a huge pig. He was in the 98% as a baby. Now he's turning 6 and lean and thin but super tall. My other two kids are much smaller and are smaller portions. All kids are different.

Feed your baby. If your Ped says not to, find a new Ped. Not all pediatricians are created equal. Personally, I found one with lactation consultants on staff. I haven't had a problem since.

No. I fed my baby when she was hungry. We like to eat when we are hungry. Why would a person expect a little baby to wait?

Feed on demand gradually they'll work out a usual routine but some days it might be different. My dd usually goes 3 hours but sometimes she'll want to nurse before that time or maybe just a quick snack which is ok

If they want it give it too them lol but no more than 6 ounces until they are at least 4 months
