Would you be concerned?

Question

My daughter was in the 49th percentile for her weight at 4 months. Today, at 5 months, she's in the 41st percentile. She still gained a whole pound in the past month, she just dropped in the percentile. Is that concerning?

My daughter went from 50th at 2 month to between 15-50th (big range I know) at 4 month.  But my daughter is very tall, in the 97th percentile, so my doc isn't concerned as she said it's all relative.  She's my tall skinny girl and loves her solids!!  If your doc isn't concerned, you shouldn't be.

My little boy was 91st when he was born, then dropped to just below 50th. 
Health visitor said if they they drop more than two segments they would be concerned. 
We went to dr to get him checked out. No concerns. 
He's now on 75th percentile and tracking there so everyone is happy
That's not enough of a drop to cause any concern.

If your ped isn't worried, you shouldn't be either. I've noticed the percentiles fluctuate up and down a bit from appointment to appointment so I don't think there's a concern unless it goes down by a certain amount. Mine went from 12th to 7th between his 2 and 4 month checkups and she didn't say anything.

That's nothing. And I always go by unless my doctor is concerned, I'm not concerned.
