progesterone shots and moodiness HELP

Ryan-Alexis • Momma of two soon to be three🌈 ❤️ Happily married to my best friend 🥰💍
Ok, so this is my second pregnancy. My first one I had some complications with. I went into preterm labor 8 weeks early. Fourtunately there were able to stop the labor with some shots. They ended up giving me a steroid shot to help my sons lung development. Two and a half weeks later I went into labor. I ended up delivering a beautiful 6lb 2oz 19 inch long baby boy.
Fast forward to now almost 7 years later. I am pregnant with my second son. I was told by a high risk specialist since I have history of preterm labor that I would have to get on progesterone shots once a week daily till I'm 36 weeks (which hurt like a mother trucker). I asked what the side effects were because I was a little bit concerned if it was safe or if there were any long term effects. He assured me that really the only side effect I would have was "a little extra moodiness" right.
What I want to know is if any of you ladies have had the shots and if you were also "a little extra moody" Because apparently I am moody as hell. I cannot help but cry over the dumbest things! Wanna watch A Dogs Purpose while pregnant? I advise you not to because I went through a whole box of tissues. My boyfriend says I take little things and make them a big issue. And I honestly don't think I do... I don't know if it's the extra hormones or what. Please give me some advice!!
