foster kids:

I plan on fostering, and though it never happened to me I know sometimes kids end up moving from place to place with all their stuff stuffed in trash bags.

I plan on giving kiddos a suitcase or duffelbag and a blanket that can be all their own. I'd probably phrase it so the suitcase is all theirs for when we go on vacations or roadtrips.

Does that make sense/sound like a good idea? I definitely don't want it to sound like I'm expecting them to only be there temporarily. I would also embroider both those items with their name so that if they end up in a crappy foster home later on they can't say that those things aren't the kiddos. I'm hoping to adopt the kiddos were able to have in our homes though.
