Anyone have Borderline Personality Disorder? I feel a little alone in this and I want to see if any of the community can share some insight

Yes. I have BPD, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety and ptsd. The BPD traits are taking over and destroying all aspects of my life right now as  Iam 27 weeks pregnant and off all my meds.

I was diagnosed in 9th grade? And now I'm going to college in the fall. It has greatly affected me in the past year because I handle my emotions by basically being a slut and making stupid decisions and then I hate myseld IMMENSELY for it. It's so hard to deal with. My family doesn't even acknowledge that I have it.

I have bpd and I fucking hate myself for it, I take shit way to personal and I fear rejection so much I avoid confrontation on any little thing even if it's asking for water at a friends house I've been on meds, didn't work had horrible side affects and here I am hating myself for having something I have no control over

Yes, I was just recently diagnosed. I'm 39 so I'm having a hard time. For so long I never could understand my severe swings in mood. Still trying to find the right treatment. Sending you my prayers.

I've been diagnosed with BPD, depression, and anxiety. I've finally found a DBT group but not sure I can commit to it yet because I'm 12 weeks pregnant. Being off my meds has been hell.

I used to have BPD but am recovered now.  I probably had it at 14 but was diagnosed at 15, and did dialectical behavior therapy until I graduated from high school.  By 20 I felt free of BPD.  My therapist used Marsha Linehan's BPD skills training manual.  During the therapy I didn't realize it was working (I was pretty passive and numb, didn't have expectations of success or failure but still went in every week anyway and did what she told me to do), but now I can see that it actually worked, and it changed my life.  Recovery is possible! Even when you feel doomed, when everything seems to have gone to shit, there is something good waiting for you out there.  Emotions come and they go... Your mind has the capacity to heal.  I'm rooting for you!  Glad you posted this here.  Wishing everyone the best.
