I think that there's no hard and fast rule. Every human is different and needs different amounts of sleep, differing from day to day.

I would say it depends on how much sleep they are getting in a full 24 hour period. I believe around that age they should be getting about 14 - 14 1/2 hours so I would say it would depend on how much sleep they have during the day. If you can't get them to sleep past say 630 but they've only slept say 10 hours then try bring their bedtime backward so they go to bed earlier. You'll probably find they still wake up at the same time in the morning but will have slept longer.

My 14 month old usually goes to bed between 7/8 and sleeps until 8/9. So usually at least 12 hours. I think he's going through a growth spurt right now because the past few days he's went to bed at 630 and slept until 8/9 plus takes a 2-3 hour nap.

It's common that they should be getting at least 11 hours of sleep during the night. But, every child is different. Sometimes we get 12 hours but it's not that common as he still takes 2 naps.

My daughter usually goes to bed at 8 and is usually awake around 630/7 sometimes earlier if she hears my husband leaving for work. She naps around 2-3.5hrs
