I secretly wish I would run into his ex lol.  Show her the engagement and wedding ring and be like "I win". She's crazy and would always tell people they were engaged when they weren't

When I first started dating my boyfriend I noticed he got a text on his phone from the ex saying "congratulations on the new girlfriend, she is really pretty." He didn't reply to her. I still don't know to this day (over 7 years later) if she was saying it to be nice or saying it to be a bitch. She cheated on him and that's why they broke up but he did take it really bad because he was "young and in love". Not long after that text she came in to the restaurant I was the manager at and kept cutting me dirty looks. I ignored it. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me. We've been together for over 7 years and I know that I got him for good.

My boyfriend is still friends with his ex. I have never met her. She once talked to my boyfriend about meeting me because she figured it might might me more comfortable with their friendship. He told her no- I don't want to meet her. Ever. I trust my boyfriend completely so I really don't see a need and I'd never be friends with her.

So if she approached me I'd be nice, but I'd also be very very guarded and uptight. I would be getting out of that situation as fast a possible. I'd also be letting my boyfriend know to keep her away from me. I just don't want her around me.

We've been together for 15 years, I wouldn't treat an ex any differently than anyone else he knew.  I have no concerns there and not interested in any sort of drama if that was their intent.  Too old for that shit.

I usually "play nice in the sand box" with others but I am unsure how I would truly react with one of his ex's. I might just tell her where to go. I also have an ex that my SO says he wishes to never come in contact with. I guess there is a point for everyone. 
But there really is no way to say how one would truely react.

Well, she died in car crash the year before we met. That was 11 years ago. If I saw her I'd probably run like hell.

Any other ex, I don't care, seriously. My husband has met my serious ex BF multiple times. They shook hands and carried on like people who just met with me in common. No big issue. My ex was a habitual cheater and isn't a good person, but my husband treated him with respect. I've been with my husband for a decade. We don't let people get in the middle of what we have or bother us in any way.

I would play nice! Afterwards I would rag on her though, to him. Just to point out flaws I saw, nothing too cruel or anything. But I have to deal with one all the time, since he has a kid with her. Since it was a very short lived relationship, and I ended up with the best daughter anyone could ask for, I can't hate her.
