Any Etsy Sellers?

Hi! I'm hoping to start my own Etsy shop in a month or two - and I'm hoping for some advice on advertising, and just how to set up a successful shop! All help is appreciated! Thanks!

Hey there! I have an etsy shop called Lavish Soap Company where I sell soap. My suggestions on making a lot of good sales are:
•Take good photos: good lighting, edited, clean, and appealing 
•Write clear and intriguing descriptions 
•Advertize to your family and friends through Facebook, instingram, etc.  (that's how I got the most traffic to my site) 
•You can pay for advertising through etsy and google. I haven't tried it because I've heard it doesn't work too well but you could give it a shot. 
•Sell something creative and interesting that no one else is selling (what makes your shop and product different).

Hi!

I've had one etsy account but sold two different products. When I first open I sold handmade crib skirts. I only sold a few before I put etsy on vacation due to being so sick during my pregnancy. Now I'm currently selling budget printables. That I just started a few days ago.

My advice is treat it like a serious business. Don't just "put stuff up and see what happens". Do your research, write good descriptions,  take good photos. Basically if your gonna do a little, go all the way.

Each person markets differently so I can't offer advice that you don't already know.
