Cloth diapers? Are they worth the hassle?

What brands work best for you? Where did you do your research? How did you convince your hubbys??

If you maintenance them properly (which I didn't and am now trying to correct it) they can save a lot of money (some will be eaten up by running your laundry more often) and are environmentally friendly. The idea of everyone's disposable diapers just piling up in a landfill really freaks me out. Yeah they're kind of gross to deal with when soiled, but you get used to it. We made an initial investment of about $300. One child is in cloth and one is in disposables but our older will soon be potty trained and once that happens, ill move the younger one into cloth. Both have their pros and cons, but the environmental factor is what ultimately prompted me to grow tih cloth, for the most part. I'd put them both in cloth now but we don't have the extra funds to buy more at the moment.

Its honestly more work to take care of.
Also, a daycare wont be letting you use them there.
You can going to be using money in electricity and water to wash them. I just dont see the benefits.

They can be more work but save alot of money and you always have them on hand. They don't have any chemicals and are better for the environment. Watch YouTube videos they have very good information. Some people use both.  Just depends on what works for you
