If a trans person doesn't disclose their past sex change do their sexual partners have a right to feel wronged/violated?

I cam across an article about a husband and wife. The wife had been born a male and undergone a sec change before meeting her husband. They mutually decided not t have children so the question of reproduction is irrelevant here so there is no need to discuss it. She never told him that she had had gender reassignment surgery and he believed her to be a cisgender woman. When he found out he said that he felt like he had been assaulted. Do you think sexual partners (purely sexual, not someone you potentially plan on having a family with) have a right to know whether the person they are sleeping with isn't cisgender?
