am I fat?

Okay so I'm 5'5 and weigh 155 everyone says I look like I weigh 130 but I feel fat sometimes:( my ex constantly told me I wasn't fat but idk....a lot of people tell me I'm thick. My girlfriends tell me that's good tho??😕

I'm an inch shorter and felt the same way at that weight because it came after several years in the 130s. But now I'm 190 after having my son and fighting to get back down to 150. It's all about perspective!

If I were you, I would stop asking everyone else, you don't need our validation or your boyfriends… It's about how you feel about yourself. If you feel like you can be healthier, making small adjustments with your diet and exercise habits can really make you feel better about yourself as well as get your body into the healthiest shape it can be. I don't know your body type, and I can't see you, but I will tell you that the number on the scale is not necessarily the biggest indicator of your health either. But it's important to remember that self-esteem comes from you. That means taking care of you when you need taking care of. If you feel like your body needs some extra care, then help yourself out and you'll feel a lot better. I know that for me, i'm 166 pounds and 5'9" tall and I know I'm fat. I know I have a big old spare tire around my midsection that I am diligently working on. I'm OK with that though. Nobody's perfect. I love and accept myself as I am as I work on getting my body as healthy as I can be.

I am that height, last year I weighed 140, and then gradually gained weight. Now I'm 180. I thought I was fat then... noooooo you are a really good size. Especially when people can't guess your correct weight, take that as a complement. ☺

It's not about wether or not you are fat it's about what you are comfortable with. If you think you are fat and you are not happy with the way you look and feel then you should do something about it. You are the only one with the power to do it. I am 5'1" and 150lbs I was 165 a month ago after my daughter was born (3yrs ago) I struggled with weight loss and self image ppl always tell I don't look 150 that I look 130 too but I'm not happy or confident with the way I look and feel so I'm working on it. I am changing my eating habits and steadily building a workout routine. It isn't fun at first but I have found things that I enjoy doing. Also, just a note when you don't feel like you look great, no matter how much someone tells you otherwise you won't think it until you are happy with how you look yourself.
